The World Is Too Much With Us

By William Wordsworth

The world is too much with us; late and soon,

Getting and spending, we lay waste our powers:

Little we see in Nature that is ours;

We have given our hearts away, a sordid boon! 4

This Sea that bares her bosom to the moon;

The winds that will be howling at all hours,

And are up-gathered now like sleeping flowers;

For this, for everything, we are out of tune; 8

It moves us not.--Great God! I'd rather be

A Pagan suckled in a creed outworn;

So might I, standing on this pleasant lea,

Have glimpses that would make me less forlorn; 12

Have sight of Proteus rising from the sea;

Or hear old Triton blow his wreathed horn.

Do you have a poetry that you would like to add?

When I stand up for myself and my beliefs, they call me a "Witch".
When I stand up for those I love, they call me a Witch.
When I speak my mind, think my own thoughts, or do things my own way, they call me a Witch.

Being a witch entails raising my children to be strong people
Who have a solid sense of personal and social responsibility
To  not be afraid to stand up for what they believe in
To have love and respect themselves and  for the beautiful beings they are.

I'm a witch, Which  means that I am free to be the wonderful creature I am,
Being a witch means I won't compromise what's in my heart.
It means I live my life my way. It means I won't allow anyone to step on me.
Nor bring me down in any form.
I am proud to be a witch! It means I have the courage and strength to allow myself to be who I truly am.

I amd Strong in what I believe in  and won't become anyone else's idea
 of what they think I "should" or Shouldn't be.
I am outspoken, opinionated and determined.
By The Goddess, I want what I want and there is nothing wrong with that!
By The Gods, I have that Power and the right to have what I want.

If
being  a witch makes you dislike me, so be it. I embrace the title, I
wear it like a shield of armour, and I am proud to wear it.

SO MOTE IT BE!

 Conversing with the Spirits
As a seance tends to require a group of people here is a way an individual can try and commune with the spirits

Find a place you can go to be alone and undisturbed. Light three purple candles and one black cat candle figure. Arrange them on a table with a mirror and turn out all other lights.

As you sit before the mirror and in the candlelight, call out the name of the one you wish to contact. Chant it over and over like a mantra, in time you will see the spectre of the departed behind you in the mirror. Continue to chant thier name and you will hear thier voice as if it were your own thoughts.

When the spirit has said all it wishes the spectre will disappear. Afterwords extinguish the candles and thank you spirit aloud for heading your call. If possible take flowers to the resting place of the departed as a gesture of gratitude.
